Six-seat modular sofa designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia. The Bambole series won the Compasso d’Oro in 1979 and is included in the permanent collection of the MoMA, New York. What makes Le Bambole distinctive is the apparent absence of a supporting structure, the natural softness of its form, and the seamless synthesis of comfort, elasticity, and sculptural presence.
